Hoeven Announces Funding for Students in North Dakota
BISMARCK, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that North Dakota has been awarded $118,576 from the U.S. Department of Education. Today’s funding was made available through a Consortium Incentive Grant and will be used to support children in North Dakota who have experienced interrupted education. These efforts include properly enrolling migratory students in school, and placement in grade and courses through credit accrual, helping to meet the student’s needs.
“This federal funding from the Department of Education will support efforts in North Dakota to ensure migratory students are placed in the proper courses and have the necessary resources to help them succeed,” said Hoeven.
