Hoeven Announces Funding for North Dakota Hospital Foundation from CARES Act
BISMARCK, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) has awarded $1,072,968 to the North Dakota Hospital Foundation. This funding was made available through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act and will be used to support preparedness and response activities related to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
“This grant will help support North Dakota’s continued response to the coronavirus public health emergency and provide important resources to further support the state’s health care systems and medical professionals in their efforts,” said Hoeven.
