Hoeven Announces Fedorchak as New State Director
BISMARCK, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven today announced that he has named Julie Fedorchak as his new state director. Fedorchak has been the senator’s deputy state director since January 2011 when he took office. She is replacing Shane Goettle, who left his position Tuesday to pursue other opportunities.
A North Dakota native, Fedorchak was born in Williston, grew up in Fargo and graduated from high school in Bismarck. She completed a journalism degree from the University of North Dakota and has 21 years of experience in communications and public policy, including service as communications director for former Gov. Ed Schafer.
“Julie brings a wealth of experience to our team from both the private and public sectors. She has done a quality job as deputy state director, and I look forward to working with her in her new role,” Hoeven said.
Fedorchak lives in Bismarck. She and her husband Mike have three children, and are involved in a number of church and community organizations.
