Hoeven Announces CARES Act Funding Released for Three More North Dakota Airports
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Committee, announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has released funding to three airports in North Dakota. These grants were previously announced by Hoeven on April 14 and were made available under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
- Barnes County Municipal Airport – $30,000
- Oakes Municipal Airport – $30,000
- Lisbon Municipal Airport – $20,000
“Airports have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and as DOT continues releasing funding from the CARES Act, it will help provide economic relief,” said Hoeven.
