Hoeven Announces $9.5 Million Contract for Minot Air Force Base Project

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Defense Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Department of the Army has awarded a $9,479,200 contract to Strata Corporation in Grand Forks for repairs at the Minot Air Force Base (MAFB). The project includes removing and replacing approximately 23 square yards of cement concrete on the Mass Parking Apron Section III and is expected to be completed by the end of October. 

“Minot Air Force Base is a vital mission for our national defense and these funds will repair important base infrastructure to ensure the airmen and women are able to fulfill their missions,” said Hoeven.
