Hoeven Announces $255,000 Grant to Support UTTC Business Development Center

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Commerce has awarded $255,000 to United Tribes Technical College (UTTC) to support its business development center. The center provides services to minority-owned businesses, helping them to take advantage of market opportunities to support job creation in tribal communities.

“Business development centers like UTTC’s connect our small businesses with the expertise they need to grow their operations,” Hoeven said. “That means a stronger economy and good jobs for our citizens.”
