Hoeven Announces $172,000 USDA Grant to NDSU to Improve Pest Management for Agriculture Industry

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee and a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has awarded $172,134 to North Dakota State University (NDSU) to improve crop protection and pest management. 

“NDSU is continually developing new tools to help our state’s agriculture industry grow food, fuel and fiber to meet our needs,” said Hoeven. “Today’s funds will help NDSU develop new methods to help our producers prevent disease and pests from damaging their crops.”
