North Dakota Leaders Unveil Line Up for Two Day Energy Summit
Washington — Senator Kent Conrad, Senator John Hoeven and Governor Jack Dalrymple teamed up today to announce the line up for the 5th Annual Great Plains & EmPower ND Energy Expo.
"We are pleased to announce the Great Plains & EmPower ND Energy Expo will take place on November 14 and 15 at Bismarck State College," the North Dakota leaders said in a joint statement. "North Dakota has the potential to be the powerhouse for the nation. We are gathering the nation's leading energy experts together to explore innovative ideas and help unlock that potential. Come and join us."
Governor Dalrymple's Empower North Dakota Energy Conference has teamed up with the North Dakota Senators to form the Great Plains & Empower ND Energy Expo.
Researchers, entrepreneurs, policy makers, and industry leaders will gather for the two-day conference at BSC's National Energy Center of Excellence to discuss some of North Dakota's — and the nation's — most pressing energy issues.
The event showcases a lineup of notable speakers exploring a diverse agenda, including engaging and in-depth panel discussions on National Energy Policy, workforce development and fracking.
Energy Expo partners include Bismarck State College, Great Plains Energy Corridor, Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson, the North Dakota Department of Commerce, and the North Dakota Chamber of Commerce.
